Description
One imperative for museums today is social action. How can museums respond to the realities of today’s news and the pressing issues that concern communities locally and globally, while maintaining core exhibitions and collection displays that engage and delight visitors? Are our approaches to questions of community engagement, educational programming, and inclusive practices sufficient? Underscoring these questions is the implied contradiction of quality vs. relevance. This distinguished panel of directors debates these challenges.
